Our IT guy is going to be replaced in the next few days. What steps should I take in advance to protect myself?
This is an excellent question that requires proper planning in advance. We suggest that you call us well in advance before you fire your IT guy. We will meet with you and review the current network, documentation (if any), passwords, and ways to get into the network remotely. The idea is that in the event of a hostile IT employee, we can protect you and the network from damage. This is not a simple task, and it takes some careful planning to close all doors that allows for remote access.
