What type of problems can you fix over remote support?

Last Updated: 9 years ago in Remote Support / Managed Services – Return to Knowledgebase

Almost all problems can be fixed with remote support (there are some exceptions). We are using both off-the-shelf and proprietary remote support tools that allow us the same power as if we were sitting at your office in front of the system.  The majority of software related issues can be corrected remotely, assuming that you have a stable working Internet connection. The cases where we will advise to schedule an onsite call or to bring the system in might involve a hard drive that’s showing symptoms of failure, an infected system that may spread further on the network, and hardware problems that must be corrected first to get the system to work properly. The process will start with a simple phone conversation where we ask you few technical questions that help us determine what the issue is, and then possibly connecting into the system. As soon as we find out what needs to be done, we will let you know and arrange for the repair.
