I got a pop up on my screen that tells me that the FBI got my picture and IP address. Am I in trouble?
Not the kind of trouble that you think you are. The FBI is not after you, but someone else (a hacker) is trying to take some of your money. These are part of what are called Ransomware infections, where you will be tricked to pay a ransom fee for a hacker “not to report you to the FBI”. If you got hit with one of these infections – turn the power off to that computer or laptop, and give us a call. We will be able to remove the infection and keep your record clean with the FBI.
