I am getting a new Windows desktop and want to copy over all of my programs, can it be done?
We do not recommend it. The cleanest and best way to make a migration from an old computer (for instance if the old computer is XP and new computer is Win 7) to new computer is a fresh install of the applications and then copying over the data. There are a few tools out from Microsoft and other vendors that can ease the migration process, but all have some limitations. Let us know when you are planning to retire your old computer and get a new one. We can help you with the process of ordering the proper new system that meets your office needs, and also we will handle the installation of all programs and migration of the data.
