What is the difference between Static IP and Dynamic IP and which should I have at my office?
A dynamic IP is commonly used for homes. It costs you less per month, and will make little difference in the way that you operate your computers at home. Static IPs and the lines that coming with them are considered to be business level lines, and allow for proper use of servers such as an Exchange server. What is critical to understand is that when you have a static IP address it is permanent, and we can point traffic such as email to that mail server.
