When we have clients / vendors at our office – they connect their laptop into a network jack in the wall – is that ok?
Never allow for that. 99% of the time that network jack in the wall is connected directly to the switches in your server room. Letting a computer that was never inspected connect directly into the heart of your network is simply asking for trouble. You should have a separate setup for allowing guests to connect. We can assist you with such setup at your office. Call us and we can get this security issue taken care of.
